Deer Loves Peanut Butter!
As you might already know that deers love peanut butter. If you are a hunter and want to attract deers easily to kill them, then this deer attractant is a must try for you. I usally use deer attractant or a nice looking deer decoy.
It is cheap and it works.
So, grab some peanut butter and give it a try.
Here's a quick guide to help you do this better.
What you need:
The best way I have found to feed it to them is:
This works. They will clean the jar out as if it never had peanut butter in it. No other animals can get the peanut butter.
I go through about a jar a week to 10 days.

Here's a quick guide to help you do this better.
What you need:
- A plastic jar of peanut butter with the lid
- Some course thread screws like sheet rock deck screws something like that
- A sharp knife
- A tree
The best way I have found to feed it to them is:
- Take the lid off of the peanut butter jar.
- Take your screws and lid and with the screws attach the lid to a tree at hip height so you can screw the jar of peanut butter back onto the lid.
- The lid should now be attached to a tree about hip height.
- Take your sharp knife and cut the bottom off of the peanut butter jar.
- Screw the jar of peanut butter onto the lid
- The jar of peanut butter should no be attached to the tree with the bottom cut out so the deer can lick the peanut butter out of it.

Hunting Mule Deer - How To Do It Properly?
Hunting Mule Deer out west can be a hard task. Weather in the woods or in the plains the deer have the upper hand and it takes a skilled hunter to close the gap and put an arrow in the right spot. One tip I can offer to Mule Deer hunters is (where state law allows of course) the salt lick.
They sell lots of products that "attract" deer and such as DeerCane, Deer Corn, and other minerals and liquids. Well I got a trick that I use that is WAY more cost effective. Natural mineral licks are great place to catch deer getting their required nutrients, and making your own is super easy to.
Go to any hardware store or pool store and purchase a bag of pool salt, usually comes in 20lbs and 50lbs.
I like the 50lbs because it is cost effective. In your pack you will fill up 2 1gal zip bags with the salt to take to your location and one gallon of water, along with a field shovel. Find your deer spot and dig a hole 4'x4' and about 10-12" with it being deepest in the middle.
Add one bag of salt and then pour half the gallon of water, then slowly add some of the other bag (only what will dissolve with your water) until your left with a salty watery puddle.
Thats it! Hang your camera and your stand and watch as the deer come to you.

Using Calls During The Rut
Learning how to use the calls is one of the most important things that's for sure. I was with my dad last week up north and he bought a bugle, he pulled it out of the package and blew on it, sounded like a dead or dying animal!
He is an experienced caller too, but he wasn't familiar with that type of call yet and he sure as heck wasnt ready to take that out in the field with him. I told him you take that with you on our hunt and still sound like that, make sure your hunting the other end of the unit so you can scare em to me!
Hahaha. Of course he didnt find it very funny though.
That cow call is awesome especially if your with a friend or two because they can be 30-40yrds behind you giving a soft cow call while your set up, if they do it right and everything comes together they can get that bull to walk right by you looking for them cows.
But be careful if they set up to close to you or your the one calling its going to be a lot harder to get that big boy to come in close because he is going to want to see a cow and if he doesnt he is going to get spooked and freeze up.
